HTS-IMU4 is a small, high accuracy non-GPS-aided inertial measurement unit. It consists of 3 high accurate MEMS gyroscopes, 3 high precison MEMS accelerometers and 3 inclinometers. It has the same gyro performance as the HTS-E3/1A gyroscope module (alternative STIM210 Sensonor) and an accelerometer zero bias repeatability of less than 0.2 mg. The HTS-IMU4 inertial measurement unit has 3 built-in inclinometers to ensure accurate system leveling and provides an external synchronization signal input. The IMU (inertial measurement unit) is temperature compensated over a wide operating range, and all axes are mechanically and electrically aligned relative to the package reference plane. The HTS-IMU4 inertial measurement unit is not sensitive to magnetic fields. For higher-priced and heavier FOG-based inertial measurment systems, it is a relatively reliable, cost-effective inertial measurement unit. Its output format, sampling rate, filter settings, and data packet content can be set by the customer.


HTS-IMU4 Inertial measurement unit is not only an alternative of Sensonor STIM300, but also has a better accuracy and performance than them.


HTS-IMU4 Inertial measurement unit features a full-scale angular rate input range of 2000°/s, with a customizable output range. Stanadard acceleration input range is ±10 g. Through electronic axis alignment technology, axis misalignment as low as 1 mrad can be achieved. The HTS-IMU4 Inertial measurement unit requires only a single 5 V power supply and is equipped with a digital serial RS422 interface.


The HTS-IMU4 evaluation kit, supporting either PCI or USB connectivity, is now available. This evaluation tool enables users to conveniently acquire measurement data and configure the IMU. It features a selection of data sampling rates, graphical data visualization, and data file recording capabilities. The evaluation kit includes an RS422 interface for USB or PCI hardware connections, all necessary cables, and accompanying PC software.
